Khai

Once we pulled up to Bar One, we all got out of the cars and walked hand in hand with the baddest bitches in the town on our hands. We walked in the club and all eyes were on us.

We walked in and there was a large banner up that said “Welcome Home DJ.” Stylez and Mar had closed off the whole VIP section upstairs for us only and had set up three smaller ones downstairs for other patrons. We mingled around the club a little before we headed upstairs.

When we got upstairs and were settled with bottles of Ace of Spades, I poured everyone a shot and gave a toast.

“It’s been a long five years, but you kept ya head up in there and managed to give us the support we needed out here at the same time. We appreciate all the guiding you did for us to get where we are and I’m glad you back out here to take your crown in the streets of Buffalo,” I spoke to DJ.

“It feels good my nigga. I wanna thank you for looking after Quinn and keeping her on the right path. She has become a woman before her time but for all the right reason. You don’t know how easy it was for me to relax knowing that you were taking care of her, as she was your own. Stylez, keep my sister happy. She has been through enough. I’m glad she decided to give you a shot. If Khai and I can’t keep her at bay, I have faith that you can. Quinn, I love you more than anything and remember I will do anything to keep you outta harm’s way so please always keep an open mind with me and the rest of the fellas. That goes for the rest of you ladies as well. We can’t help y’all if y’all don’t tell us what’s going on. I am glad that we were able to join these two families together and I am looking forward to a long life of getting money and keeping respect for each other,” DJ said.

We raised our glasses, “Salute,” and tossed the shots back.

Shannon and me were in or own world, feeling each other up. I was really feeling shorty. No one knew but I met Shannon a few months back. I didn’t know that she was related to Tyler, but now I could see the family resemblance.

“You coming home with me tonight?” Shannon asked me.

“I can arrange that. Don’t you got a class in the morning though”? I asked.

“Yeah and you’re gonna make sure I get there,” she replied with a grin.

I felt a tap on my shoulder and I turned around looking at the last person I wanted ever wanted to see again.

“The fuck you want?” I asked not hiding my attitude.

“Can we go somewhere and talk? I want to apologize,” Chyna replied.

“Ain’t shit to apologize about. Now go bout ya business, you’re interrupting me and my girl,” I said and turned my attention back to Shannon.
